A. Fees

Fees and expenses are negotiable.

B. Responsibilities

  1. Sponsor or Facility
    secure space for lecture & lab
    solicit patients for lab demonstration or practice
    provide audio-visual equipment for course presentation
    print & mail brochures
    print course booklets

  2. jvb physical therapy services, inc.
    develop course content specific to sponsor or facility’s request
    provide brochure information & course booklet for printing according
    to established deadline
    provide power point and/or video presentation for course

C. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Contact (Clock) Hours

  1. jvb physical therapy services, inc. can issue CEUs or contact (clock) hours in the state of Georgia and South Carolina. The out-of-state sponsor or facility should verify CEUs or contact (clock) hours with the occupational and physical therapy state boards. The Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy and the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation does not grant approval for continuing education programs. Therefore, the sponsor or facility can issue a certificate denoting contact (clock) hours following the guidelines set forth by each entity.

  2. A sponsor or facility in Georgia or South Carolina can issue CEUs if it is an CEU issuing agency or:
    apply to the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia or South Carolina
    Association of Physical Therapy to have a course approved to issue
    CEUs
    apply to Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy to have course
    approved for contact hours.

D. Other

  1. All presentations will be in Microsoft PowerPoint using a laptop with Windows XP compatibility. Video will either be embedded in the PowerPoint presentation or a separate video will be used.
  2. A list of items required for each course will be provided (written and verbal) for a representative of the sponsor or facility.
